Born in Casablanca in 1985, Houda Kabbaj left Morocco in 2005 to study at the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris. Graduated in 2011, she worked in Paris for three years at the agency HDA, an agency specializing in architecture, design and engineering. In 2014 she decided to devote herself to the photography that accompanies her since she was 16 years old.
Self-taught photographer, she uses mainly argentic photography, whose experimental process is part of her approach. She defines her work as introspective from "mental images" she transcribes. She lives and works between Paris and Marrakech.
