Casablanca, September 1, 2015, the Canadian painter DOMINIC BESNER landed in Morocco for a period of 4 months with the objective of coming to create a brand new exhibition that was presented at SO ART GALLERY on November 17, 2015.
"The fact of painting on site will allow me to immerse myself and especially to inspire me with smells, flavors and especially a light that will certainly influence my painting. Said Besner who settled in an art residence in Casablanca.
"This change of environment and culture will allow me to question some of the basics and also to explore new horizons. It will be a complete immersion and an opportunity to revisit a people I love, who have a culture and lifestyle different from what we are used to seeing in Canada; These differences are a great source of inspiration for me. "
